Day 1: Departure & Arrival

Airport Pickup to your HOTEL.

  • Depending on arrival time, spend a free afternoon in the city of Tel Aviv.
  • Relaxing on the beach or enjoying some of the city’s vibrant restaurants.
  • Stay overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 2: Caesarea, Haifa, Akko, Rosh Hanikra

  • Pickup in the morning from your hotel
  • Depart from Tel Aviv and head north along Israel’s Mediterranean coastline.
  • Visit King Herod’s beautiful Port city at Caesarea which was the most advanced in the world when built
  • In Haifa, Israel’s third city, see the amazing Bahai Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and gaze across the city which is likened to ‘Israel’s San Francisco’
  • Walk in the markets of the Crusader City of Akko
  • Visit the grottos at Rosh Hanikra
  • Stay overnight in Tel Aviv

Day 3: Galilee, Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, River Jordan

  • Pickup in the morning from your hotel
  • Head to the North of Israel’s Galilee region
  • Tour Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus
  • Pass through the village of Cana before visiting two more famous sites from the New Testament, Capernaum and Tabgha on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked on water
  • Visit the Jordan River Baptism Site at Yardenit
  • Stay overnight in Jerusalem

Day 4: Jerusalem

  • Pickup from your hotel
  • On this day you will explore Jerusalem, one of the most iconic and famous cities on Earth, holy to Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
  • See the city of Jerusalem from a viewpoint, including view over the Mount of Olives.
  • Enjoy a guided tour including famous sites of the Old City such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, Mount Zion, as well as the bustling markets
  • Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial and Museum
  • Stay overnight in Jerusalem

Day 5: Masada and the Dead Sea

  • Pickup in the morning from your hotel
  • Visit the legendary Masada, the fortress which King Herod built in the Judean Desert.
  • Float in the waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth.
  • Pass by Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered
  • Overnight in Jerusalem

Day 6: Petra, Wadi Rum

  • Pickup from a centralized location, need to arrange own transport to this location, can ask your hotel to pre-arrange taxi for you (at your own cost, approximately $10)
  • Tour one of the Seven New Wonders of the World – Petra
  • Enjoy a guided tour of this magical Nabatean City with highlights including the Siq, Treasury, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs
  • In the afternoon, transfer to Wadi Rum
  • Stay overnight in a Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum (overnight in a hotel in Aqaba is available for those who prefer, and is standard in colder winter months)

Day 7: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Eilat, Negev Desert

  • In the morning, take a desert jeep safari tour through the magical landscape of the Wadi Rum desert led by none other than local Bedouin guides
  • Transfer to the Jordanian port city of Aqaba and visit its bustling markets
  • Cross back into Israel at Eilat, and enjoy a few hours in this resort city on the Red Sea
  • Head north through Israel’s Negev Desert and Arava Valley and see the thriving desert agriculture of Israel’s desert region
  • Stay overnight in Tel Aviv

Day 8: Departure

  • Enjoy a free day in Tel Aviv.
  • Airport transfer to Ben Gurion Airport.
